PCPD strives to be the best possible corporate citizen. Through ongoing corporate contributions, PCPD supports various organizations, programmes and charity causes that enhance the lives and well-being of others in the community.
To support the local community, PCPD joined forces with the residents at Bel-Air since 2004 to actively participate in "CyberRun for Rehab" to raise funds for the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation. PCPD has also sponsored the Cyberport Venture Capital Forum since 2005, the theme of which was how to build a business and socially responsible at the same time. PCPD was named by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in their "Caring Company" award in 2007 and 2008.
With a vision to help the people in need around the globe, PCPD organised a variety of charitable events and staff fund-raising activities for relief work following the South Asian tsunami disaster, while it also provided support to various voluntary organizations, such as United Nations Children's Fund and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, to help the less privileged in the society to get better living standards and conditions.
